Summary

The Riverside development is situated beside the famous Elk River in Fernie. It's a popular choice for couples, families, and groups. Our convenient location means you'll be minutes from Downtown, Fernie Alpine Resort, and Island Lake Lodge. Our first floor two bedroom condo, with an additional loft bedroom space is a great choice if you need three sleeping areas. There's also a family bathroom, an ensuite, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, and private deck with BBQ and great views.

The space

Our property is on the first floor, meaning there is a flight of steps to get to the front door. There are also two lockers on the first floor balcony area that you can use during your stay, the keys are on the coat hooks just inside the main unit.



You enter into the hallway of the property where you will find coat hooks and an area to put your shoes. Along the hallway you will find a closet with the in suite laundry facilities, ironing board and iron. There is also a bedroom with ensuite just off this hallway. At the end of the hallway you will find the main living space with an open plan kitchen and lounge area.



THE LOUNGE AND KITCHEN

The lounge has a sofa and wall mounted TV and is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Next to the lounge is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up a light snack or hearty meal during your stay. There are large and small appliances, along with salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans for your use. Next to the kitchen you will find a wooden dining table and chairs.



THE DECK

From the dining space there are patio doors onto the private deck space where you will find a BBQ and seating. Here you can enjoy the views while having your breakfast, lunch, or evening meal.



THE BEDROOM SPACES

Just off the hallway there is a bedroom with queen bed and ensuite. Plus, just off the main living space there is another bedroom with a queen bed, closet space, and chest of drawers. This bedroom has a door through to the family bathroom where you will find a tub with shower over, vanity unit, locally made body wash/shampoo, and a supply of hotel quality towels. The third bedroom space can be found upstairs in the loft area. Please note, this is an open space with balcony and no door. You will find the third queen bed with side tables, lamps, and closet. For your comfort, all the beds are dressed in hotel quality linens.



ABOUT FERNIE

Fernie is a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful scenery, outdoor activities, and charming downtown area. Visitors can enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter or hiking, mountain biking, and fishing in the summer. The surrounding mountains provide excellent opportunities for outdoor adventures, and the town itself has a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore. Overall, Fernie is a great place to visit for those who love the outdoors and want to experience the natural beauty of British Columbia.



IMPORTANT: The strata forbid the use of hot plates and portable cooking stoves in all lock-off units.

- Quiet time is from 10pm - 7 am

- Smoking is not permitted on limited common property, including decks, balconies or courtyards, or within 3 meters of common property windows, doors or air intakes

- No pets (unless you are in a pet friendly unit)

- No parties

- No sports equipment inside the unit

- Do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the unit. Furthermore, please do not bring work materials or supplies into the property. Instead use allocated storage locations



Please note, a fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if the house rules are not obeyed. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.



COAL/ DIRT SURCHARGE:

- A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/ dirt stained and require to get steam cleaned.

- Please be advised that there will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty.

-To help prevent staining, dark laundry sets are available. Please notify us when booking if you require dark laundry for your stay. Also, please note that any late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee.
